Anomalies are game-wide rules that reshape the entire tavern. When one is active, ignoring it is one of the biggest mistakes you can make — and adapting to it is one of the easiest ways to climb.

An anomaly is revealed at the start of the game, around hero selection, and it applies to every player equally. It might change gold, tavern costs, how minions are offered, or how combat works.
